	Jerry served as Chaplain in the US Navy, and retired with 29 years of service. While in the Navy, Jerry earned a second masters degree (Counseling and Human Development) and was licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida, his home state. Jerry first established the Upper Room Counseling Center in Orlando in 1998. He now continues the Upper Room here in the Villages, Lady Lake, Fruitland Park area. Jerry is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Mediator and has conducted over 1,200 mediations. He also has certifications in Grief, Alcohol and Drug Counseling and currently conducts 4 DUI groups each week.
	Marianne is a Licensed Clinical Christian Theraptis and has been National Certified Counselor for 20 Years. She earned her Master's Degree and Advanced Certificate of Professional Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University and Medical College of Virginia. Before moving to The Villages in 2005 she practiced with Phychatrics Associates of Fredericksburg, Virginia as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has had vast experience working with families and parenting issues. Her special interests are: anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and life changes. Applying Christian principals and values is Marianne's therapeutic approach to promoting growth and change.
Dr. Joseph Nussbaumer, Jr., PhD, Christian Psychologist	Dr. Joe Nussbaumer, Jr., is owner of GFC Counseling in Groveland, FL. He is also the resident psychologist at Upper Room Counseling Center. Joe is a founding fellow and board certified, FACAPP, by American College of Advanced Practice Psychologists and founding fellow and board certified in geriatric psychology, child and adolescent psychology, FCICPP, by International College of Professional Psychologists. Dr. Nussbaumer is currently the president of FACCT, Florida Association of Christian Counselors and Therapists.
	Nathalie Donny is a welcomed addition to our staff at Upper Room Counseling Center. She has an extensive background working with trauma and sexual abuse as well as crisis intervention. She holds several certifications as, Member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, National Association of Forensic Counselors, American Mental Health Counselors Association and Florida Association of Christian Counselors and Therapists. Nathalie is fluent in both English and French.
	Carol has been working with our office to enhance the EAP services we provide for businesses in our community. She formerly held a similar position, coordinating EAP care for our military members and their families. In addition to her position as EAP Coordinator, she has recently procured her certification as a SAP.
	Rebekah is also a great addition or our staff. She has just graduated with a BS in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. At URCC, she is receiving experience in all aspects of a counseling center. In addition to being the Office Manager, Rebekah is assisting Jerry with the substance abuse program as a CAP intern.
